How do I join BACTA?
Apply to BACTA for an application form
To join BACTA simply email Theresa Risby at theresar@bacta.org.uk with your name and the address of your business, an application form will be sent to you. Alternatively, please call on 020 7726 9826.
An application form will be issued with instructions
Send back the application form & BACTA will inform you of the cost of membership (based on division and size of company).
Your application will be assessed at the next Management Committee meeting and then membership of BACTA can begin immediately.
Who should Join BACTA?
All eligible companies, organisations and individuals (over the age of 18) who are arcade owners, suppliers, operators, distributors or manufacturers and work within the coin-op industry can join.
Membership falls into two categories:
Ordinary Members: Generally businesses join BACTA as Ordinary Members and then they nominate individuals to represent its membership.
Associate Members: Associate (non-voting) Membership is available to any business or person who is;
- Engaged in a trade ancillary to the amusement machine industry.
- A company directly engaged in the amusement machine business whose Head Office is based outside of Great Britain, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.
- Employed by a business which is an Ordinary Member of BACTA
- Retired from the amusement machine business who was previously a member of BACTA
Membership of BACTA is decided by the Management Committee.
How much does it cost to Join BACTA?
Membership costs are related to the division that you are in and the size of your company. The subscription year runs October – October and payments can either be paid by cheque once a year or by a direct debit arrangement monthly.
If you join BACTA in the middle of the membership year your subscription cost will be calculation a pro-rata basis.

- BACTA provide FREE legal advice to members through our in-house legal expert.

- Take advantage of BACTA's training scheme and initiatives to show your Local Authority that you are socially responsible.
- Receive FREE European Amusement and Gaming Expo (EAG-Expo) tickets for yourself, a guest and two employees in the members' lounge during the show, plus exhibition stand discounts at EAG-Expo
- BACTA are also in the process of extending their member services to include discounted insurance rates and other related benefits.
- All members are entitled to attend regional meetings and if elected, divisional meetings and National Council. Joining BACTA means you can shape the future of the industry.
